On a plate

There was no better soothing serenade for Mark, than the bubbling sound from John's aquarium. Together with the blueness of the walls it contributed greatly to the illusion of being on the bottom of the ocean- one of the most absolute hermitages there is. Lying stretched on the bed, Mark was able to empty his mind from all kind of emotional load and just drift away, as if on the waves. The water imagery has always been close to his imagination and heart, so he made habit of practicing innocent escapisms to dreams of long boat trips or diving among rainbow-like shoals and corals. I had some fun today drawing myself while looking into the mirrow. I haven't done a thing like that for ages, so it was a refreshing experience. I dedicate this self-portrait to Vigrid, who reminded me today that it could be worthwhile, and lilue, who creates self-portraits very often.

Heh, I'm in a very green mood lately- if I had green prisms hanging from everywhere I'd be the happiest.

Our self-portraits reflect our emotional staste and you had it all tough lately, but I'm sure I'll see happy self-portraits of you too, just in some time.
